We should drive southeast and stare up at the shooting stars in the Geminid instead of sitting here at home and watching TV that bothers me. Philistine operator fell asleep to syncopated songs. Let's gather up what we need and cleanse all the rest with fire. If a life is measured by the things you can't afford to buy, then be criticized!
2.
This atlas acts like a journal; it already knows where I'm turning. This freeway feels like a funeral, memories of the gas I'm burning. I thought things were supposed to be harder; I think I'm growing up in a rush. I think I used to be smarter. I think I thought I was thinking too much.
3.
You said, "These ends are justified when my friends keep their means. Have faith, little man, I'm sure you'll get yours. I'm done running, I'll hit the ground laughing." Your sole existence is to reverse our progress. I know nothing is permanent, but we're still stagnant. I said, "This chair where you sit, next year, we'll take it back. Have faith, Governor, I'm sure you'll get yours. Run again and we'll see who's laughing then." Your sole existence is to complicate our progress. I know that nothing is permanent but we're still standing here.

Why don't I listen to my fingertips? That is where all my life-long wisdom lives. Callouses prove the path that I've been on and blisters show me every turn gone wrong. The left hand leads the right hand through every new plan. The right hand says beware but the left hand's been there. Confidence forms the scales upon my skin but fear has found a way to wear them thin. If I am careful in the things I do, this blister will become a callous soon.
5.
This coffeepot is mocking me about fresh starts and productivity. Make a list, a contract, a promise to break and wonder why I even got out of bed. Slog through this daily routine and daydream about living off my hobbies. You know I could pull myself up if these straps weren't attached to some billionaire's boots. Let's plan out our lives. I'll be goddamned if the next thing I do is dependent on cashing a check from you. At least I can finally sleep.
6.
I want to stomp on your throat but I'm not tall enough. It makes me want to hit "reset" but I know that I won't. I'll kill them one at a time. I want to conjure fire but I don't have the power. I want to tame the ice but I don't have the shoes. I want to turn to stone but you can see right through. If you want what I've got, come and take it from me, but we're getting nowhere with this sibling rivalry. I want to take flight but I'm not high enough. No!
7.
You'd pay your dues, but you say it cheapens you. You don't have to work for peer review. Back in '94 this might have mattered more. Now we're second stage for the new gilded age. Let's make a scene. Let's keep it young and clean, packaged in polypropelene. Now these houses don't sing anymore, 'cause this is civil war. It's an inevitable defeat for the ruling elite. And I have no doubt you'll figure out what this song is about because you're more vain than you act. You did your time, but I did mine in 5/4 time. Now I'll enjoy my second prime.
8.
Extend your arms and pretend they're wings, and dream the same dream you did when you were a kid. Just bend your knees and fall. Four sheets to the wind by my demand, and a briefcase full of $20s. Put the bourbon on my bill, 'cause you're never gonna catch me. Coop up and wait for the snoop's exclaim. Then play the same game you did when you were a kid. That's how you'll dupe them all. You plan to fail when you fail to plan; I'll take that to the grave with me. The fake McCoy got shot and killed, but you're never gonna top me. No, you'll never understand if you think it's about the money. I only did it for the thrill and you're never gonna find me.

Blue Coat 04:40
It's a crushing blow to the boy's morale, but the mission goes on anyhow. That familiar form, that familial face, has been sent home and has been replaced. I don't like the way you fill out that blue coat. It's just not the same. Stay cool with friends and puncture pride. Then make your move when the gates are thrown wide. You've made it known that you never intend to show respect for machine-like men.
